You play as a character trying to save their beloved from certain death. One day, a mysterious shaman shows up at your door, promising you a cure for your beloved using a certain ritual. You must collect all the necessary items from the abandoned church in town while going through some minigames. Try to discover what the background story of the church is while you're at it.

Talk to NPCs until they repeat themselves!

The minigames are challenging, but I hope you feel rewarded once you beat each minigame. For the first minigame, using a mouse (and lowering sensitivity) instead of a touchpad is recommended. I also recommend you stay in the center view of the camera and slowly jiggle the mouse forward and backward to bait the projectiles. That should make it quite a bit easier.  The camera moves at a fixed speed

WALKTHROUGH: SPOILERS

Talk to Dr Corvus until he repeats himself

Talk to Ezekiel, in the right room of the cemetery (green area)

Interact with the shed to the left of the fountain in the churchyard (purple area)

Talk to Dr Corvus again until he repeats himself, then start first minigame

Go to the shed with your newly obtained key

Interact with the chest in the top between the bookshelves 

Interact with the blue  brain jar in the bottom room to the left

Leave shed and go back to Ezekiel to trigger 2nd minigame

Talk to Ezekiel afterwards to obtain 2nd key item

Go back to the fountain, and go right to find the cat in the room with the statue

Interact with the cat to start 3d minigame and obtain 3rd key item 

Go back to cemetery (green area) and interact with the pentagram between the 2 blue trees in the top left. 

Finish 4th minigame and leave the area.

Update 6/12 10:00pm CET. After so many complaints about difficulty of first minigame, I moved the spawn locations of projectiles further away, and prevented projectiles from spawning immediately on start. Also increased timer between projectile spawns.

Update 2/12 11:52pm CET. Fixed issue that would break end-game crucial dialogue.

Update 1/12 11:16pm CET. Issue with torches was due to web exports changing to compatibility render which does not support shadows on PointLight2D nodes :). So I disabled shadows from the torches and reinstanced them.

Note: Godot's web export is buggy apparently, which lead to all the torches in the game breaking and not emitting their light. I'm sorry for this, did not realize until the last moment.  As a consequence, some areas of the game will seem too dark. If you know of a fix, please let me know :((((. 

This is my 3rd game ever. I am very proud of myself considering I had to juggle work and life responsibilities while making this. It is my most cohesive game so far with an actual story that I find funny and entertaining. I learned a lot in terms of game design and art, and I am very satisfied with how the game turned out. Feedback is 100% appreciated!

It was my pleasure to work with you on the art of the dialogue portraits. I love the atmosphere and story of your game, and I think it turned out really well and definitely your best work yet! The minigames were engaging and gave me a challenge, especially the ghost hunting one xD I look forward to playing your future games! :)
